Role Overview

The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and ethical dispensing of medications while providing professional pharmaceutical care and support to patients. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently

  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with PCN guidelines

  • Provide professional counseling to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications

  • Advise patients on the safe use of medicines and general health matters

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and security of pharmaceutical products

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy records in line with legal requirements

  • Supervise the dispensing team and enforce adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures

  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and prevent stock-outs or overstocking

  • Conduct medication reviews and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes

  • Support inventory control, documentation, and routine pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution

  • Valid license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)

  • Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience, with retail pharmacy experience as an added advantage

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to ethical practice

  • Residence within or close to Ikorodu is an added advantage

Salary

N350,000 – N400,000 per month
