Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant
Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Role Summary
The Pharmacy Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist to prepare drug orders, manage stock, monitor drug consumption, and support pharmacy operations in line with PUI’s protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Order Preparation and Distribution
- Review drug requests from health facility supervisors for completeness
- Package and prepare medical supplies and medicines for delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure correct handover to responsible staff
- Adhere to confidentiality and organizational guidelines in all processes
Pharmacy and Inventory Management
- Store medicines and consumables following PUI standards
- Record daily and weekly drug consumption and submit reports to the Pharmacist
- Conduct regular inventory of first aid kits, PEP kits, and dispensary stock
- Track and update stock cards regularly
- Organize medicines using the First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) method
- Monitor and document storage conditions like temperature and humidity
- Report any stock irregularities or high consumption risks to the Pharmacist
- Support site-level inventory checks with the Pharmacist and Dispenser
Compliance and Documentation
- Apply all hygiene and safety protocols in the pharmacy
- Maintain records of deliveries, orders, and inventory reports
- File all relevant pharmacy documents correctly
General Support
- Attend trainings and meetings as required
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor

Salary
N344,223 monthly
