Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists to ensure smooth daily operations. The role involves dispensing medications, managing stock, supporting customers, and maintaining high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately
- Manage stock levels, organize shelves, and check for expired items
- Attend to customer inquiries and provide basic medication guidance
- Process prescriptions and update patient records
- Support procurement and supply chain activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow safety standards
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy Technician from a recognized institution
- Valid license with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in community or hospital pharmacy
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must live within or close to Ikorodu
