Job Summary

The Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and pies, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation. This role requires experience in dough handling, baking techniques, and adherence to kitchen safety standards. Creativity, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of pizzas and sweet or savory pies with diverse toppings and crusts.
• Hand-make and roll fresh dough daily.
• Mix and prepare ingredients such as sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and pastry fillings.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients are available at all times.
• Operate ovens, mixers, and dough rollers efficiently.
• Maintain food quality and hygiene standards during preparation and presentation.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
• Work closely with the kitchen team and suggest new menu ideas.
• Follow portion control guidelines to reduce waste.
• Comply with all food safety and health regulations.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in food preparation or hospitality.
• Proven experience as a pizza maker or in a busy kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of both traditional and modern pizza recipes.
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
