Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary School Science Teacher to deliver engaging science lessons and support the academic development of young learners. The ideal candidate will be committed to teaching excellence and student growth in a structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach primary school science subjects including basic concepts in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Agricultural Science
• Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging, age-appropriate science lessons
• Assess and evaluate pupils’ academic progress through tests, assignments, and classroom participation
• Maintain accurate student records and reports
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among pupils
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive moral values
• Participate in school meetings, activities, and development programmes
• Support the overall growth and well-being of pupils

Qualifications and Skills

• NCE, HND, B.Ed, or BSc in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Physics, or Agricultural Science
• High moral standard, responsible, and self-disciplined
• Passion for teaching and working with young learners
• Creative, innovative, and goal-oriented personality
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Experience

• 3 – 10 years of teaching experience in a reputable private primary school

Salary and Benefits

• N40,000 – N50,000 monthly
• Staff accommodation available
• One meal provided daily
