Role Overview

TAAS College is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking school administrator to serve as Principal or Vice Principal.
The successful candidate will provide strong academic and administrative leadership, support modern teaching methods, and encourage the use of technology and artificial intelligence in learning and school management.
This role requires a deep commitment to academic excellence, student development, and effective staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership in line with the school’s vision and values
• Plan, implement, and review the school curriculum to maintain high academic standards
• Support the use of technology and AI tools in teaching, learning, and school operations
• Supervise, guide, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff
• Promote discipline, student welfare, and overall personal development
• Monitor students’ academic progress and introduce improvement strategies where needed
• Build positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community
• Ensure compliance with education regulations and internal school policies
• Support modern teaching methods and data-based decision making

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• TRCN certification is required
• Strong understanding of school administration and academic management
• Ability to use digital tools, school management systems, and AI-based platforms
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities

Experience

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years teaching and administrative experience
• At least 5 to 8 years in a school leadership role such as Principal, Vice Principal, or Head of School
• Experience in private school administration is an added advantage

Location Requirement

• Applicants must live in Ibadan or be willing to relocate close to the school

Salary
