Job Title: Python Web (Django) Developer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Web Developer to join our team for a long-term role. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Django (preferred) and Flask frameworks. You will be responsible for designing and delivering efficient, high-quality code while ensuring performance, scalability, usability, and security.

This role focuses on developing server-side logic and building robust APIs that support client-side applications. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team in an agile environment, so a basic understanding of front-end technologies and DevOps is required.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
• Develop backend components to improve performance and responsiveness
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Test, debug, and optimize programs
• Enhance existing systems for better functionality
• Implement security and data protection best practices
• Review, assess, and prioritize new feature requests
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical solutions based on user requirements

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in backend web development
• Strong knowledge of Django (preferred), with experience in Flask, FastAPI, or Pyramid frameworks
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
