Role Overview

We are looking for a careful and committed Quality Assurance Officer to support quality control activities within our processing facility. This role focuses on helping the company maintain high standards for product quality, safety, and compliance throughout the production process. The ideal candidate should be observant, organized, and ready to work closely with production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular quality checks on raw materials, work in progress, and finished products
• Observe production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Identify quality issues and assist with corrective actions
• Keep clear and accurate quality records, logs, and reports
• Ensure staff follow approved operating procedures and hygiene rules
• Support internal and external audits and quality improvement activities
• Assist with basic quality and food safety training for production staff
• Work closely with the QA Supervisor and production team to maintain consistent product quality

Qualifications and Skills

• OND, HND, or BSc in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
• Two to three years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a food production environment
• Basic understanding of food safety practices and quality systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Good communication and record keeping skills
• Ability to work well within a factory team setting

Residency Requirement

Applicants must live in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby areas to be considered for this role.

Salary

Monthly salary is N150,000.
