Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Role Overview

The Quality Control Officer ensures that our food, beverages, and services consistently meet high standards of quality, taste, hygiene, and safety. This role is vital in maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect food preparation areas, storage, and service stations to meet hygiene and safety standards
• Monitor taste, presentation, and portion sizes of meals before service for consistency
• Check the freshness, quality, and handling of raw ingredients upon delivery and during storage
• Ensure kitchen staff follow recipes, portion guides, and standard procedures
• Conduct regular audits on food safety practices including hygiene checks and expiration control
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality checks, and corrective actions
• Train kitchen and service staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Investigate and address customer complaints related to food quality or service
• Work with procurement to ensure suppliers meet agreed quality standards
• Recommend improvements to kitchen operations, menu execution, and service processes

Qualifications

• HND or BSc Degree
• Minimum of 3 years work experience

Key Skills and Competencies

• Strong attention to detail with excellent sensory evaluation skills (taste, smell, presentation)
• Good knowledge of food safety regulations (NAFDAC, HACCP, local health codes)
• Strong communication and training abilities
• Problem-solving skills with ability to enforce corrective actions
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Team-oriented mindset to collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams

N300,000 monthly
