Job Title: Quality Control Officer Plastic Industry

Work Schedule: Day and night shifts from 7am to 7pm
Role Overview
The Quality Control Officer will inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished plastic products to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role supports consistent product output by identifying defects, maintaining records, and working closely with production teams to improve processes and reduce waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in process items, and finished plastic products
- Carry out visual checks, measurements, and basic product testing
- Ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality procedures are followed
- Document inspection results, defects, and corrective actions
- Investigate quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions
- Train production staff on quality standards and inspection methods
- Support continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and improve product reliability
Qualifications and Skills
- Good understanding of plastic manufacturing processes such as injection molding
- Ability to use basic measuring and inspection tools
- Knowledge of quality management systems and inspection procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work day and night shifts
Salary
Monthly salary ranges from ₦100,000 to ₦150,000
