Role Overview

We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support construction and real estate projects through proper cost planning, budgeting, and financial control. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and contractual terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
• Track project expenses and manage cost control from start to completion
• Develop tender documents, review bids, and assist with contract discussions
• Handle project variations, valuations, and final account preparation
• Carry out feasibility studies and cost planning for new projects
• Ensure all cost-related activities follow contract terms and project requirements
• Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors
• Produce regular cost reports and financial updates
• Identify cost risks and manage procurement-related issues

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Professional membership such as NIQS is an advantage
• Two to five years of relevant experience in construction or real estate projects
• Good understanding of construction processes, materials, and contracts
• Strong ability to use cost estimation tools and Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate with a team
