We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Relationship Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition across various sectors including supermarkets, pharmacies, filling stations, eateries and restaurants, lounges and bars, and hotels. The role involves developing strategies to increase sales revenue, leading the merchant acquisition team, and ensuring consistent achievement of targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive merchant acquisition in targeted business sectors within the assigned region
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow merchant acquisition and meet sales goals
  • Manage and lead the regional merchant acquisition team to achieve profitable growth
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to ensure targets are consistently exceeded
  • Guide Key Account Managers (KAMs) to meet all performance metrics
  • Achieve set quotas for transaction value, volume, and revenue in the region
  • Monitor market trends and provide competitor analysis to the Merchant Acquisition Manager
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the company’s products and services to advise merchants effectively
  • Visit active and inactive merchants regularly and arrange POS retrieval from inactive partners where necessary
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • 6–8 years of experience in the merchant business
  • Proven experience managing a high-performance sales team
  • Strong ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve results
  • Possession of an Android smartphone
  • Flexible, results-driven, and hardworking with a track record of success
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer orientation and adaptability to different personalities
