Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency support.
• Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, and injuries.
• Create and implement individualized health care plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Conduct regular health screenings, assessments, and immunization checks.
• Promote health awareness through education on topics like nutrition, hygiene, safety, and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and counselors to ensure a healthy learning environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
• Act as a bridge between the school, families, healthcare providers, and community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state board of nursing.
