Role Overview

The Security Guard will be responsible for protecting people, property, and company facilities. The role involves monitoring activities within the premises, controlling access, and responding quickly to security and safety issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to prevent theft and other security risks
• Monitor entry and exit points and allow access only to authorized persons
• Carry out routine checks on buildings, equipment, and surroundings
• Identify and report suspicious activities or security concerns promptly
• Respond to emergencies such as fire incidents, disturbances, or medical situations
• Maintain accurate security records and incident reports
• Follow and enforce company security procedures at all times
• Provide guidance and support to visitors when required

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification
• At least two years of experience in a security role
• Physically fit and attentive to details
• Good observation and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Honest, disciplined, and dependable
• Basic understanding of security duties and emergency response

Salary

Monthly salary ranges from ₦50,000 to ₦100,000 depending on experience and performance.
