The hospital was established by the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena from Italy. Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and alert Security Guard to join our hospital team. This role focuses on protecting patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property. The ideal candidate must be observant, dependable, and able to communicate clearly while maintaining a calm and professional presence at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol hospital premises to ensure safety and security
• Prevent unauthorized access and report suspicious activities
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergency situations
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and basic inquiries
• Enforce hospital rules, safety procedures, and access control
• Keep accurate records of incidents, patrols, and security activities
• Work closely with hospital staff to maintain a secure environment
• Check vehicles, equipment, and entry points when required
• Take part in security training and emergency drills

Qualifications and Skills

• SSCE or its equivalent
• Basic security training or certification such as Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps training
• Minimum of two years experience in hospital security or a related role
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay alert and handle stressful situations
• Ability to work alone and with a team

Working Conditions

• Shift duties including day and night shifts
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Ability to stand or walk for long hours
• Fast-paced work environment

Salary

N50,000 to N60,000 per month
