Job Overview
We’re looking for a highly skilled and ICAN-certified Senior Accountant to join our team in Lagos. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and data-driven financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial activities and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, tax laws, and other financial regulations
  • Handle tax planning, preparation, and statutory remittances
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Support internal and external audits with comprehensive documentation
  • Contribute financial insights to support business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • ICAN certification is required; other certifications (ACCA, CFA) are an advantage
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar accounting role within a structured environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
