Job Title: Senior Accountant

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Senior Accountant to manage financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The successful candidate will support the organization with accurate financial insights, oversee budgeting processes, and ensure all financial activities meet regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate financial planning and budgeting across business units
• Prepare and track annual budgets to ensure spending aligns with approved limits
• Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts and performance reports
• Recommend and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Supervise payroll administration and update statutory remittances
• Manage inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset records
• Identify potential investment opportunities and improve financial processes
Qualifications and Skills
• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification is an advantage
• Minimum of seven years experience in finance or accounting, including at least three years in a managerial position
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and audit procedures
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Salary
N450,000 to N500,000 monthly. Negotiable based on experience.
