Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO and SEM Specialist who will help strengthen FairMoney’s presence across search platforms. The right candidate will build a strong acquisition funnel through SEO and Google Search Ads. The role requires someone who is data driven, growth minded, and able to take full ownership of search acquisition from strategy to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO and SEM strategies to drive high-intent user acquisition.
- Increase organic traffic and rankings for important finance-related keywords.
- Manage and optimise Google Search Ads campaigns for better cost efficiency and conversion results.
- Improve the entire search journey from keyword to landing page and final application.
- Test and enhance landing pages, content, and user flow to improve conversion rates.
- Analyse search performance to remove low-value or inefficient spend.
- Track and report key metrics including traffic growth, lead quality, and cost of acquisition.
- Use data insights to recommend improvements that support growth.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and growth teams to align strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in SEO, SEM, or similar search-focused roles.
- Strong experience managing Google Search Ads.
- Good knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Search Console.
- Understanding of Nigeria’s search trends and user behaviour.
- Familiarity with GA4 and conversion tracking.
- Ability to work with product and engineering teams to implement SEO changes.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Experience in fintech or a high-growth business environment is an advantage.
