Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Specialist / Content Writer to manage our online presence. The successful candidate will develop engaging content, grow our digital audience, and strengthen our brand identity. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media trends, storytelling, and effective digital communication.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Write engaging content for social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.

• Develop captions, scripts, taglines, and storytelling content for different platforms.

• Work with the design team to produce quality visual content.

Social Media Management

• Manage daily posting across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.

• Plan monthly content calendars aligned with business goals.

• Respond to comments, inquiries, and messages professionally.

Brand Awareness and Growth

• Increase online visibility through consistent engagement and trend awareness.

• Conduct competitor and industry research to keep the brand up to date.

• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.

Analytics and Reporting

• Monitor performance metrics including reach, engagement, impressions, and conversions.

• Prepare weekly or monthly reports for management.

• Recommend improvements based on data analysis.

Campaign Development

• Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

• Write content for ads and paid promotions when required.

• Contribute to overall brand communication efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5–10 years of experience in a similar role.

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and trends.

• Ability to generate ideas and adapt quickly to new trends.

• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Canva or CapCut.

• Good organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• High level of creativity and attention to detail.

Salary

₦150,000 – ₦200,000 per month.
