Catalyst Path Consulting is hiring on behalf of a mining company located in Gujeni, Kaduna. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Store Officer to support day-to-day inventory operations and ensure smooth material flow across departments.

Role Overview
This position requires a well-organized professional who can manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly received, stored, and issued. Your work will play a key role in supporting ongoing mining operations and minimizing downtime due to material shortages.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and equipment following standard procedures
• Maintain up-to-date stock records using ERP or inventory management systems
• Issue materials and tools based on approved requisitions
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment
• Conduct regular inventory counts, audits, and reconcile stock discrepancies
• Ensure all materials are labeled, tagged, and stored according to safety and operational standards
• Track goods movement using bin cards and ledger entries
• Support loading and unloading activities and organize storage areas efficiently
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to streamline inventory processes
• Keep the store area clean, safe, and well-organized

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Store Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a mining or industrial setting
• Sound understanding of storekeeping and inventory control systems
• Hands-on experience with ERP software or inventory tools such as SAP, Tally, or similar platforms
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in materials handling
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment
