Role Overview

We are hiring a Storekeeper to manage materials, tools, and equipment used on construction sites. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in store management, good record-keeping skills, and the ability to support site operations by ensuring materials are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check all materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the store
• Record items accurately in stock and inventory records
• Issue materials only based on approved requests
• Arrange items properly to prevent damage or loss
• Keep the store clean, safe, and well organized
• Carry out regular stock checks and prepare simple inventory reports
• Monitor stock levels and inform the team when items need restocking
• Work closely with procurement staff and site supervisors

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc degree or OND is required
• Additional storekeeping or logistics certifications will be an advantage
• At least 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a construction company
• Good knowledge of construction materials and site equipment
• Basic computer skills, including the use of Excel or inventory software
• Honest, careful, and detail-oriented
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Salary

N180,000 to N200,000 per month
