Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to handle structural design, site supervision, and quality control for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all structural works meet approved designs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and review structural plans and engineering drawings

• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved structural designs

• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare technical and inspection reports

• Review contractor submissions, materials, and method statements

• Ensure structural works comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations

• Identify structural challenges on site and provide practical engineering solutions

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals

• Monitor construction progress and enforce quality control measures

• Provide technical support during project execution and handover stages

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or HND in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

• Proven experience in structural design, analysis, and site supervision

• Strong knowledge of construction standards, drawings, and safety practices

• Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, or STAAD

• Good understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structures

• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills

• Good report writing and documentation abilities

• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Salary

N150,000 to N200,000 monthly
