Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Team Leader to supervise and support loan-recovery agents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and performance-management skills while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and guide loan recovery agents in their daily activities
• Ensure team members meet recovery targets and maintain productivity
• Monitor performance, track daily reports, and provide timely feedback
• Resolve escalated customer issues professionally
• Train, coach, and motivate staff to improve efficiency and results
• Enforce company policies, ethical recovery practices, and quality standards
• Prepare and submit performance reports to management
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new collectors
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive work environment
Qualifications and Skills
• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of one year experience in collections or supervisory roles preferred
• Understanding of loan-recovery processes is an added advantage
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and reporting tools
Required Skills:
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office, email tools, CRM systems, reporting
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism
Salary
N120000 to N150000 monthly
