Role Overview
We are hiring a Technical Officer with solid experience in commercial and industrial solar projects. This role involves hands on field work, including solar PV and minigrid installations. The successful candidate will work on site, resolve technical issues, and ensure all installations meet safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain solar PV systems
- Carry out minigrid installations and provide ongoing technical support
- Perform site inspections and prepare clear technical reports
- Identify and fix system faults in a timely manner
- Work with project teams to meet quality, safety, and compliance requirements
- Support client training and system handover after project completion
- Maintain accurate records for installations, servicing, and maintenance activities
Qualifications and Skills
- OND, HND, or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline
- Practical experience in commercial and industrial solar installations
- Experience working on minigrid projects
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, safety practices, and installation standards
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability
- Good attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Salary
Monthly salary of N150,000
