Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Trailer Driver to ensure the safe and timely delivery of Coca-Cola products across Nigeria. The ideal candidate must have a valid Class G driver’s license, an excellent understanding of road safety standards, and proven experience handling heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive company trailers to deliver Coca-Cola products to warehouses, distributors, and retail outlets
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks to confirm roadworthiness and documentation compliance
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely to prevent loss or damage
  • Keep accurate records including waybills, logbooks, and delivery reports
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety procedures
  • Report mechanical issues, accidents, or unusual incidents to the fleet supervisor promptly
  • Follow delivery schedules while maintaining a strong focus on safety
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks such as oil, water, and tire inspections
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients, customers, and security officials
Requirements
  • Valid Class G driver’s license issued in Nigeria
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional trailer or heavy-duty truck driving experience (preferably within FMCG or beverage distribution)
  • Solid knowledge of Nigerian road networks, traffic rules, and safety practices
  • Ability to complete long-distance journeys with discipline and alertness
  • Strong driving safety record with minimal or no accident history
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting for minor repairs and emergencies
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills
  • Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of long driving hours
  • Integrity, reliability, and strong attention to detail
Preferred Attributes
  • Previous experience in FMCG logistics, especially beverage or food distribution
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
  • Readiness to undergo background checks, drug testing, and driving assessments
