Job Title: Travel Consultant

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to manage travel advisory, booking operations, itinerary planning, and client support. The ideal candidate should be skilled in travel coordination, customer service, and reservation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory and Consultation
• Understand client preferences, budgets, and travel goals
• Provide professional travel recommendations and tailored solutions
Travel Planning and Itinerary Development
• Develop complete travel itineraries including flights, hotels, transport, and tours
• Ensure all plans meet client expectations and are accurate
Booking and Reservation Management
• Handle end-to-end travel reservations using GDS or online booking tools
• Ensure timely confirmations, correct documentation, and compliance with travel policies
Customer Support and Issue Resolution
• Assist clients before, during, and after travel
• Resolve travel-related challenges including cancellations, changes, or emergencies
Vendor and Partner Coordination
• Work with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to secure the best deals
• Negotiate rates and maintain strong supplier relationships
Sales and Revenue Growth
• Promote travel packages and upsell additional services
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue while maintaining client satisfaction
Administrative and Reporting Duties
• Maintain accurate travel records and client files
• Process invoices and prepare reports on bookings, sales, and client feedback
Qualifications
• Relevant academic qualifications
• 2–3 years of experience in a travel agency
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 per month
