Job Title: Treasury Sales Officer
Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Grade Level: Senior Executive Assistant – Senior Banking Officer

Role Summary

The Treasury Sales Officer will oversee and manage the bank-wide flow of funds to ensure smooth operational liquidity. The role also involves delivering prudent and efficient Asset and Liabilities Management (ALM) solutions, while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the bank’s asset and deposit liability mix, recommending alternative investment options to optimize portfolios.
• Monitor asset portfolios and obligations including pledges, placements, and securities holdings.
• Support the promotion of treasury products and provide advisory services to corporate customers.
• Minimize risk exposure while maximizing efficient use of resources.
• Identify and monitor exposure to interest rate and liquidity risks.
• Generate reports using vendor models and internal systems, ensuring results comply with internal guidelines and Board-approved limits.
• Recommend strategies to balance liquidity and profitability in line with regulatory provisions.
• Manage and monitor bank-wide fund flows daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually to maintain operational liquidity.
• Develop and manage fund transfer pricing systems for fund allocation and interest rate risk management.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of a First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or other quantitative fields.
• Relevant professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CFA, ACI, CTP, or a second degree will be an added advantage.
• 4–5 years’ experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage bank structures, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Proficiency in business environment analysis and risk management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary

₦7,000,000 – ₦9,000,000 annually.
