Role Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waitress to deliver excellent dining service to guests. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth order processing, maintain cleanliness standards, and contribute to a pleasant guest experience in line with hotel service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and present menus

• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems or order slips

• Relay orders to the kitchen or bar and ensure correct and timely delivery

• Serve food and beverages efficiently and refill drinks when necessary

• Set tables with linens, cutlery, and glassware before service

• Clear used dishes and reset tables promptly between guests

• Present bills, process cash or card payments, and issue accurate receipts

• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations

• Follow hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times

• Upsell menu items such as drinks and desserts to enhance guest experience

• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and service staff

• Handle guest inquiries and complaints politely and professionally

Qualifications and Skills

• SSCE, GCE, or NECO qualification

• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant work experience

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer-focused attitude with a pleasant appearance

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling

• Teamwork and coordination skills

Salary

N70,000 per month
