Job Overview

We are hiring a Warehouse Assistant to support our warehouse operations. This role involves loading, unloading, moving, and storing customer products efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will ensure that all customer orders are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical inventory counts, reconcile variances, and update records in the system.
• Pack and prepare orders for delivery, load vehicles, and coordinate delivery schedules and pick-ups.
• Maintain accurate manual and electronic records of inventory reports, stock takes, delivery notes, and waybills.
• Prepare requisitions for required materials to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Regularly review warehouse operations to ensure all products are safely stored.
• Prepare and submit various reports and logs to management.
• Coordinate inventory transfers from the Head Office Warehouse to other branches as directed.
• Ensure product quality and quantity meet customer requirements.
• Organize storage space according to design principles and recommend improvements to management.
• Maintain warehouse security by operating access control and alarms at appropriate times.
• Uphold health and safety standards, keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and orderly.
• Oversee maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Train team members on equipment use, health and safety, customer service, and operational processes.
• Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across departments.

Requirements

• OND qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.

Salary

N70,000 – N80,000 per month.
