Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Officer to join our team in Awka, Anambra. The role involves managing inventory, recording stock, and ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly within our aluminium extrusion factory. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with different departments to support supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and store items properly in assigned locations
• Maximize space by arranging products strategically
• Label shelves, bins, and products for easy tracking
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Apply stock rotation methods such as First In First Out (FIFO)
• Supervise careful loading of goods to avoid damage
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse supervisor and team
• Follow all safety procedures when handling materials
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth movement of goods
• Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock
• Complete and file shipping and receiving documents
• Take part in monthly stock counts and periodic audits
• Enforce compliance with warehouse policies and safety regulations
• Identify issues and report or escalate when necessary
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of HND in a related field
• Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer literacy with advanced Excel skills
• Good numeracy and clerical skills
• Effective planning and time management ability
• Strong communication skills
