Job Overview
AIG is currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to join its team at the steel manufacturing facility in Ogijo, Ogun State. This position requires someone who can effectively manage daily warehouse operations, oversee inventory processes, and ensure safety standards are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished steel products
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock reconciliation
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Oversee proper handling, packaging, and labelling of all materials
  • Manage staff schedules, assign daily tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams for timely operations
  • Implement 5S and other lean warehouse practices to improve productivity
  • Conduct regular inspections for cleanliness and equipment maintenance
  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory, warehouse performance, and staff activities

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • OND, HND or BSc in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors
  • Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage
  • Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment

Work Environment

  • The position is based at the company’s facility in Ogijo, Ogun State
  • Applicants must be comfortable working in a production or industrial setting
