Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled WordPress Expert to design, build, and maintain responsive websites for our clients. The ideal candidate should be experienced in customizing themes and plugins, integrating tools, and collaborating with creative teams to deliver SEO-optimized and high-performing websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize advanced WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and tailored functionalities
• Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and responsiveness across all devices
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs such as CRM systems, analytics, and marketing platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues including security and performance challenges
• Work with designers to ensure pixel-perfect execution and consistent branding
• Regularly update and maintain websites in line with the latest WordPress standards
• Provide technical advice to improve functionality and user experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in advanced WordPress development
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Strong background in custom theme and plugin development, including REST API integration
• Knowledge of SEO, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and performance optimization
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Gutenberg and other page builders
• Familiarity with hosting environments and server-side management
• Ability to use design tools for collaboration with creative teams
• Understanding of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and automation platforms

Salary

N75,000 – N150,000 monthly
