Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Executive Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and personnel. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles safely, following all traffic regulations.
  • Transport goods, equipment, and staff efficiently between designated locations.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections, ensuring maintenance issues are reported promptly.
  • Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload items safely while ensuring proper storage and handling.
  • Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including emergency response steps.
  • Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Ensure all vehicle documents, including licenses, insurance, and registration, are up to date.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinate with the logistics team to streamline transportation processes.
  • Report accidents, injuries, or violations to company management and cooperate with authorities as needed.
  • Follow company policies on vehicle use and professional conduct.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to improve transportation procedures.
  • Stay informed about local traffic patterns and road conditions to avoid delays.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • SSCE, NCE, ND, BSc, or BA qualification.
  • A valid driver’s license suitable for the type of vehicle operated.
  • 3-10 years of professional driving experience.
  • A clean driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations.
  • Solid understanding of both local and international traffic regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Ability to handle various types of cargo and equipment safely.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Good physical condition and stamina for long driving hours.
  • Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools.
  • Fluency in local languages is required; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
