
QHSSE Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Implement daily pre-task safety planning tools such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Toolbox Talks
- Drive proactive safety measures including Near Miss reporting, Bsafe Cards, and Stop Work Authority
- Support induction, safety coaching, and deployment of the “Safety Takes Me Home” initiative
- Assist with incident response and investigation
- Lead and support QHSE campaigns across onshore and offshore locations
- Organize safety meetings, trainings, inductions, and seminars as part of the QHSE plan
- Coordinate emergency response drills at the shore base
- Identify and report training gaps in Emergency Response Teams
- Inspect staff accommodations monthly and report improvement areas
- Maintain a comprehensive shore-based incident database
- Collate weekly and monthly safety statistics for internal and client use
- Oversee the shore medical facility and ensure first aid supplies are up-to-date
- Update all safety-related records including HSE statistics, offshore visits, and client meetings
- Conduct risk assessments and update JSAs based on findings
- Carry out daily safety inspections and hazard identification exercises
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years HSE experience in a multinational oil and gas company
- NEBOSH IGC or ISPON Certification is required
- Strong understanding of industry HSE regulations and standards
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective measures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A Master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 years total HSE management experience
