Job Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Biomedical Engineer to oversee biomedical engineering functions across multiple healthcare facilities. This role requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to improving healthcare through technology. You’ll guide a team of engineers, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and play a key role in optimizing medical equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement biomedical engineering strategies that support company-wide goals.
• Manage medical equipment planning, acquisition, deployment, and maintenance across multiple sites.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of biomedical engineers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and budget.
• Ensure all facilities comply with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Standardize procedures for equipment maintenance, calibration, and monitoring.
• Review and approve engineering reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Implement systems for reliable data collection, documentation, and reporting.
• Conduct routine audits and inspections to maintain high operational standards.
• Collaborate with hospital management, clinicians, and procurement teams to align services with patient care needs.
• Build strong partnerships with equipment suppliers, service providers, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in biomedical engineering, including 3 years in a strategic or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing operations in a healthcare facility.
• In-depth knowledge of medical equipment systems, compliance requirements, and risk management.
