Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations in the region. This role requires strong planning, the ability to meet ambitious sales targets, and the leadership skills to build and manage a performance-driven team. You will be responsible for executing the business plan, meeting revenue goals, driving distribution, and managing market activities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Focus

• Develop and implement a regional sales plan aligned with company distribution goals
• Set quarterly sales and revenue targets and ensure consistent achievement
• Monitor field performance and take corrective steps when targets are not met

Operational Focus

• Oversee and guide all sales and distribution efforts within the region
• Stay informed on competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain market position
• Strengthen distributor relationships and support their field operations

Team and People Management

• Inspire and lead a diverse sales team across the region
• Organize product training, team development programs, and performance reviews
• Create a results-focused team culture with accountability and motivation at the core

Requirements

• Strong passion for sales and a good understanding of data and performance metrics
• Familiarity with the Port Harcourt region and its business environment
• MBA with 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Prior background in sales and distribution is required
