Role Overview

Total Data Limited is seeking a competent and proactive Assistant Chief Security Officer (Assistant CSO) to support the management and coordination of security operations across our client’s office locations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Security Officer to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and company assets while enforcing established security policies and maintaining a culture of vigilance and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the CSO in overseeing and managing company-wide security operations.

• Supervise and mentor security officers to ensure effective performance and discipline.

• Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.

• Monitor and maintain the functionality of security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control tools.

• Enforce compliance with company security policies and procedures.

• Investigate security incidents and submit detailed reports to management.

• Assist in training programs to improve security staff performance and awareness.

• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.

• Promote a safe working environment through vigilance, teamwork, and proactive measures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in a relevant field.

• 3–5 years of proven experience in a supervisory or senior security role.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent understanding of security systems, technologies, and best practices.

• Ability to respond effectively under pressure and manage crisis situations calmly.

• Proven record of integrity, professionalism, and reliability.

• Must be currently residing in Lagos.
