Role Overview

The Control Room Operator will manage live CCTV monitoring activities ensuring early detection and reporting of security incidents. The role requires keen observation technical proficiency and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies while maintaining accurate logs and communication with the security team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds and identify suspicious actions or security breaches

• Operate and adjust camera controls including zoom and angle functions

• Record and document all incidents and daily observations

• Coordinate with on ground security teams to manage threats

• Conduct routine checks on CCTV equipment and report faults promptly

• Follow security protocols and ensure confidentiality of footage

• Cooperate with law enforcement when required by providing video evidence

• Report incidents to the Security Supervisor or Manager without delay

• Support training sessions on CCTV usage for team members

• Stay informed on evolving CCTV technologies and security trends

Qualifications and Skills

• OND C and G or Trade Test II and I in ICT or Computer

• Minimum of two years relevant experience

• Strong proficiency in CCTV system operations and camera configurations

• Understanding of security procedures and privacy regulations

• Excellent observation and analytical abilities

• Effective verbal and written communication

• Calm under pressure with strong problem solving capability

• Reliable punctual and willing to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays

• Energetic customer focused and able to multitask with minimal supervision

Salary

N80,000 per month
