Program Overview
Our cybersecurity training and internship initiative is tailored for students and recent graduates aiming to build practical experience and expand their knowledge of cybersecurity concepts. Participants will gain exposure to real-world projects, engage in expert-led training, and explore innovative cybersecurity technologies and techniques. This opportunity allows interns to strengthen technical skills and improve their ability to manage security risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
As a cybersecurity intern, you will take part in the following activities:

Vulnerability Analysis & Penetration Testing (Pentesting):

• Identify and analyze system vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security scans and penetration tests (black-box, white-box, grey-box).
• Create security reports and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

Infrastructure Security & Incident Management:

• Monitor networks and systems for potential threats.
• Investigate security incidents and contribute to threat response strategies.
• Assist in reinforcing security policies and procedures.

Application Security & Secure Development (DevSecOps):

• Review code to identify vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications.
• Implement security best practices in software development (CI/CD pipelines).
• Utilize automation tools to enhance security testing processes.

Compliance & Regulatory Standards:

• Understand and apply frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Support the development of security policies and internal audit preparations.

Research & Awareness Initiatives:

• Stay informed on emerging threats, malware, and attack methods.
• Develop materials for cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
• Participate in cybersecurity events such as CTF competitions and hackathons.

Desired Profile: We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals passionate about cybersecurity and eager to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Background:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or related fields.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of network security, cryptography, and identity & access management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with operating systems like Windows and Linux, plus system hardening practices.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Snort, and Nessus.
• Knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Awareness of penetration testing methodologies like OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to manage security incidents calmly.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
• Effective teamwork and adaptability in learning new technologies.
