Position: Digital Security Officer

Reports To: Security Coordinator / Operations Manager

Job Overview
We are looking for a committed and observant Digital Security Officer to manage both physical and digital security tasks at our warehouse and factory. This role involves monitoring activities, ensuring safety protocols, maintaining accurate records (manual and digital), and supporting the overall security of operations and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor warehouse activity and ensure labourers are not idle or sleeping
• Enforce safety protocols within the factory at all times
• Record all loading and offloading activities including crop type, variety, driver details, vehicle information, dispatch location, beneficiary, waybill, GRN, and weighbridge data
• Maintain daily logs of all labourers in the warehouse with details such as name, location, age, gender, and contact number
• Take detailed notes of daily warehouse activities, both manually and using electronic devices
• Track stock movement from raw materials to processing and finished goods
• Record and monitor non-factory staff entering the facility daily
• Welcome and attend to visitors professionally
• Ensure all windows are closed and lights turned off at the end of each day or when required
• Monitor fire extinguisher status and report expiry dates
• Operate factory generators and keep usage logs daily (manual and digital)
• Perform any other tasks assigned in support of the company’s operations

Requirements

• Minimum of National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Basic computer skills or ability to use tablets and electronic devices for records
• Physically fit and able to work long hours standing or on duty
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
