About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer – Electronics Repairs (Inverters) to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronic components, especially inverters, while also providing expert support during customer interactions and site visits.
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose faults in inverters and other electronic components
- Perform quality repairs and restore devices to optimal condition
- Manage repair orders, track progress, and test repaired units
- Record and document repair processes with video and reports
- Conduct after-repair testing with customers and service engineers
- Support the design of new circuit boards and energy systems
- Interpret and work with circuit diagrams
- Assist in planning and configuring solar and inverter systems
- Prepare engineering and site analysis reports
- Respond to customer queries via email and on-site visits
- Handle additional repair-related duties as assigned by the team lead
Additional Duties
- Represent PSC Solar UK Ltd. at industry events, exhibitions, and customer visits
- Support the sales of solar products and complete systems
- Attend regular technical and sales training sessions
- Perform other related tasks as directed by the Managing Director
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with inverter or electronic device repairs
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams
- Skilled in electronic board diagnostics and component-level repairs
- Proficient in using CAD, MATLAB, and social media tools
- Experience in configuring solar and hybrid inverter systems
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Nigeria and West Africa
- Must be attentive, self-motivated, and able to follow clear instructions
What We Offer
- Salary: ₦285,000 – ₦335,000 monthly
- Housing Allowance: ₦100,000 annually
