Job Overview:
As a Group Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness through independent auditing and risk management. If you have expertise in modern audit techniques, including forensic auditing, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk-based internal audits to identify control weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Develop and execute audit plans, programs, and procedures.
- Assess internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance processes.
- Perform forensic audits and investigations when required.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and ensure their implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of internal audit experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of modern audit techniques, including forensic auditing.
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA are required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
