Position: Head Accountant

Role Overview
The Head Accountant will lead the finance and accounts department, overseeing junior accountants and cashiers. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective reporting in a fast-paced food service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the finance and accounts team
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and management accounts
- Oversee payroll processing, petty cash, and bank reconciliations
- Track and report revenue, expenses, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Work closely with the inventory team on routine stock audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- ICAN or ACCA certification is required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a structured organization
Key Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Kada Sales, or Sage
- Strong analytical and financial reporting ability
- Capable of supervising and mentoring finance staff
- Detail-oriented and committed to ethical financial practices
