Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and prepare biological samples (blood, urine, tissue) for analysis.

• Perform laboratory tests following established protocols and quality standards.

• Accurately record and analyze test results for reliability and data integrity.

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment for optimal performance.

• Support the development and enforcement of lab safety and quality regulations.

• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe from hazards.

• Handle chemicals, reagents, and specimens safely, meeting safety requirements.

• Prepare clear reports of findings for medical professionals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.

• Valid laboratory technician certification/license (if required by location).

• At least 2 years of laboratory experience in a clinical or medical setting.

• Strong technical, analytical, and documentation abilities.

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
