Location: Offshore Platform, Akwa Ibom

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate and schedule routine and complex maintenance activities. This role supports efficient resource management, aligns with safety and environmental standards, and ensures optimal job execution across various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and promote safety as a top priority across all maintenance operations
  • Collaborate with Core/Work Teams to develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules
  • Plan and manage both routine and turnaround maintenance activities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and permits
  • Track and resolve scheduling issues such as negative float, progress delays, or resource overloads
  • Develop complete job plans including resource planning, cost estimation, and timelines
  • Use planning and estimating tools to manage complex work packages and job packs
  • Provide guidance to field personnel on schedule progression and work preparation
  • Contribute to procurement and contracting strategy for maintenance activities
  • Monitor critical and sub-critical paths to avoid project delays
  • Estimate and track Field Order Changes (FCOs) and integrate them into the schedule

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Prior experience in a related maintenance planning or scheduling role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage high workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant planning/scheduling software
  • Familiarity with Prometheus software is an added advantage
  • Strong leadership skills in coordinating teams and resolving project challenges
