Avixio Projects is a dynamic oil servicing company delivering top-tier solutions to International Oil Companies (IOCs) and National Oil Companies (NOCs). We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Lagos office.

Role Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing mechanical systems that meet performance, safety, and quality standards for oil and gas projects. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative engineering solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design mechanical components and systems aligned with project specifications.
  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Perform simulations, cost analysis, and feasibility studies for proposed designs.
  • Test and troubleshoot mechanical systems and prototypes for reliability and safety.
  • Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ensure all designs meet industry regulations and engineering standards.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation including reports and technical manuals.
  • Support manufacturing by resolving design-related issues and optimizing processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical design and testing.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of materials, mechanical systems, and production processes.
  • Familiarity with FEA, CFD, or other engineering analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, HVAC, or industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality control systems.
  • Experience with PLM software and product lifecycle management.
