Role Overview
The Network and Server Administrator will oversee the performance security and reliability of network systems and servers within the organisation. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure hardware installations cybersecurity tools and daily technical support across all banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Create and manage virtual machines and cloud based containers

Configure firewalls VPNs and security policies

Install and monitor PTRG sensors for network performance

Set up and maintain hardware operating systems and applications
-
Deploy and manage ESET network antivirus across all systems

Monitor server and network health for optimal uptime
-
Administer Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint and email servers

Manage Windows Server 2019 environments
-
Maintain IP PBX IP phone systems computers printers and network devices

Respond to support tickets and provide timely resolutions
-
Create user accounts and access levels via Microsoft 365
-
Ensure regular data backups and antivirus updates
-
Conduct security audits to protect against cyber threats
-
Troubleshoot system network and software issues
-
Support new application deployments and upgrades
-
Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
Qualifications and Skills
-
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a relevant field
-
Three to five years technical experience in network and system administration
-
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms firewalls VPNs and cybersecurity tools
-
Hands on experience with Microsoft 365 Windows Server IP PBX and antivirus management
-
Excellent troubleshooting analytical and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests
