We are currently looking to hire a skilled Nigerian Content Manager to join our team.
Position Overview
The Nigerian Content Manager will be responsible for creating and executing the Nigerian Content plan, ensuring compliance with regulations set by the NCDMB. This role involves closely monitoring the company’s adherence to local content regulations in the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization’s Nigerian Content plan in line with NCDMB regulations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant NCDMB guidelines and industry standards.
- Collect, edit, and share reliable information on time, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
NCDMB Duties
- Prepare, present, and distribute Nigerian Content Reports.
- Approve updates to the plan based on the latest NCDMB directives.
- Oversee the performance of Nigerian Content initiatives in line with approved procedures.
- Facilitate training and seminars to raise awareness about the Nigerian Content plan among personnel.
- Formulate and execute the Nigerian Content plan for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Provide strategic direction and foster relationships with key government agencies.
- Lead the strategy for meeting key performance indicators set by the Guidelines for Nigerian Content Development.
- Support the collation and interpretation of local data to inform the development of strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends focused on developing local capacity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and monitor the company’s Nigerian Content Plans in compliance with local laws.
- Work closely with departments such as Legal, HR, and Finance to ensure compliance with the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry Content Act.
- Assist the Business Development Department in maintaining a competitive advantage and adding value to the Nigerian content policy.
- Spearhead initiatives aimed at building skills and competencies among Nigerians of all ages.
- Formulate and lead Nigerian Content projects, ensuring proper scope, cost management, and implementation plans.
Qualifications
- A B.Sc in a Management-related or Social Science course.
- At least 10 years of relevant local content experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian Local Content Law.
- A post-graduate qualification is an added advantage.
