Job Title: NYSC Corper Legal Intern
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract (NYSC Placement)

Role Overview

The Legal Intern will support the company’s legal department in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, ensuring compliance with corporate regulations, and assisting in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate must be currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program and have a keen interest in corporate law and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents and contracts.

• Conduct basic legal research and prepare reports or summaries for the legal team.

• Support in maintaining accurate records and documentation.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

• Provide administrative support to the legal department when required.

• Collaborate with other departments to address legal and regulatory matters.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be a current NYSC Corper serving in Abuja.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.

• Completion of the Nigerian Law School program is an added advantage.

• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proactive, diligent, and eager to learn in a professional environment.

Salary

• Monthly Salary: ₦50,000

• Transportation Allowance: ₦20,000
