About the Role
The Planning and Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely delivery of large-scale civil engineering projects. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in Primavera P6 and extensive experience in site development works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Monitor project timelines and identify potential delays
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to update schedules
- Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to stakeholders
- Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with project requirements and standards
- Support project teams with resource allocation and productivity analysis
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 8 years experience in the construction industry
- At least 5 years experience specifically in planning and scheduling of civil engineering projects
- Strong background in site development works
- Expertise in using Primavera P6 project management software
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in the Middle East
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
